Late summer is the best time for you-pick sunflowers; they are just starting to open and they look beautiful. This is a great activity for a romantic daytime date, or family fun at the farm!

Farm-to-Table

Did you know we raise their own pigs, meat birds, and laying hens? We tap the maple trees, have 2 bee colonies, and pick apples from an old apple tree in the front yard. We grow dozens of herbs and vegetables, including things like oregano, garlic, swiss chard, artichoke, and edible flowers. See a complete list HERE.

We also purchase raw milk and beef from Skyline Holsteins — just 1 mile down the road— as well as source local, farm raised beef from the The Labrecque Farm in Barton, VT.

Michele also wild forages many seemingly exotic plants, such as oyster mushrooms, ramps, black raspberries, highbush cranberries, rhubarb, and violas. Of course, with all this bounty comes lots of harvesting and processing!

Russian Sage Labyrinth

Fun for the whole family! Lavender Essentials of Vermont has a huge labyrinth of Russian Sage for our guests to walk while recharging their energy from the earth, and relaxing their spirit.

Scarlette’s Pond

There’s nothing like the views from the farm. This quiet pond is a great place to sit and enjoy all that’s around you. Bring a white stone, and add it the edge of the pond. We love stone art, and encourage small cairns and such, in tasteful and appropriate placements.

Chef’s Choice Dinners

All of the great things the Capron family raises and grows, are the ingredients for our private Chef’s Choice Dinners! Pork, chicken, eggs, herbs, veggie, maple syrup, honey, flowers, are all grown here on the farm. Imagine being the only one in the “restaurant” with spectacular views all around. Your private chef and waitress serve you a gourmet farm to table 3 course dinner. No matter the dietary restrictions, our chef has got you covered. Whether you are seated at the cabin on the porch, snuggled up inside, in the Gazebo, or on one of the top decks, this is a one of a kind experience. Advance reservations required.

White Birch Tree Circle

The new Birch Tree Circle is the perfect spot to sit and meditate. Modeled after a Birch Tree Circle just a mile the road. The circle down the road has been there for at least 25 years! The circles have 8 trees and it is 50 ft across. The birch tree is a symbol of rebirth, new beginnings and growth. Within Celt Mythology, it is a sacred tree and is thought to have protective influences. The word birch comes from a Proto-Indo-European root word bhered, meaning to shine, bright, white.
