Lavender Love

Imagine tenting near a lavender field... One of the most peaceful places on Earth. Come experience it for yourself!

Did you know the views are nearly 360’?

Stay in the Coziest Place on the Farm!

Not a fan of tenting? Our one-and-only cozy cabin is sure to make your stay at the lavender farm extra special. Completely off grid, this 190sqft cabin is fully insulated, and powered by a propane generator and solar. A perfectly rustic and peaceful place to escape.

Enjoy watching the sunset from the bistro table. The kitchenette has a coffee maker, a mini fridge, and a small tabletop cookware piece is on site as well as modest kitchenware and utensils. We have a nicely decorated private portalet for you with solar lights. You won’t believe you aren’t in a ladies’ powder room! The couch pulls out into a Queen-size bed with a memory foam mattress and an additional fluffy mattress topper for a restful night’s sleep.

Please Note: There is no running water at the cabin.

From January to March the Cabin is only accessible by snowmobile. We are located just off the Vast trail 105A. Bring your own snowmobile!

Pick Your Own!

Our herbs are available for you-pick all summer and fall as they bloom and remain available. It is first-come-first-serve as nature allows. Watch our Facebook page for announcements! Lavender blooms late June/ early July and will continue to re-bloom well into September.

Late summer is the best time for you-pick sunflowers; they are just starting to open and they look beautiful. This is a great activity for a romantic daytime date, or family fun at the farm!

Farm-to-Table

Did you know we raise our own pigs, chickens, and laying hens? We tap the maple trees, have two bee colonies, and pick apples from an old apple tree in the front yard. We grow dozens of herbs and vegetables, including things like oregano, garlic, swiss chard, so many beans, and edible flowers. See a complete list HERE.

We also purchase raw milk and beef from Skyline Holsteins — just 1 mile down the road— as well as source local, farm raised beef from the The Labrecque Farm in Barton, VT.

We also wild forages many edible plants, such as oyster mushrooms, ramps, black raspberries, highbush cranberries, rhubarb, and violas. Of course, with all this bounty comes lots of harvesting and processing!

Birch Tree Circle

The Birch Tree Circle is the perfect spot to sit and meditate. The circle has 8 trees and is 50ft across. The birch tree is a symbol of rebirth, new beginnings, and growth. Within Celt Mythology, it is a sacred tree and is thought to have protective influences.

Russian Sage Labyrinth

Explore our labyrinth of Russian Sage and recharge. The path is well loved by humans and animals alike. It has been known to host a Killdeer nest as well as napping Foxes! That pattern of the labyrinth was designed with peace and tranquility in mind.

Picnics in the Fields!

Bring your own, or allow us to craft a colorful charcuterie board for your enjoyment! Lavender lemonade is available at the gift shop, and baked goodies are for sale most weekends. Call ahead to arrange your special luncheon! We would love to host your group in our new event center!!

Wedding Photo

Get Married Here!

We love weddings, and would love to host your wedding here on the farm. There are endless photo ops and scenic views from ‘The Top of the World.’ On a clear day you can easily see over 50 miles in any direction! We offer several ceremony locations, and our event center is perfect for an intimate reception. Pick the wedding package that best fits your needs, budget, and create your perfect day!.

Scarlette’s Pond

There’s nothing like the views from the farm. This quiet pond is a great place to sit and enjoy all that’s around you. Bring a white stone, and add it the edge of the pond. We love stone art, and encourage small cairns and such, in tasteful and appropriate placements.

Chef’s Choice Dinners

All of the great things the Capron family raises and grows are the ingredients for our private Chef’s Choice Dinners! Pork, chicken, eggs, herbs, veggies, maple syrup, honey, and flowers are all grown here on the farm! Imagine being the only one in the “restaurant” with spectacular views all around. Your private chef and waitress serve you a gourmet farm-to-table 3-course dinner. No matter the dietary restrictions, our chef has got you covered. Whether you are seated at the cabin on the porch, snuggled up inside the Gazebo, or with a close gathering in the event center, this is a one of a kind experience. Advance reservations required.

Lavender Farm 5K

Imagine running a 5K that begins and ends at a lavender farm! This is an annual family event, all ages are welcome, walkers and runners. (No dogs please.)

The course is located at the tip of Vermont, along the Canadian border amongst family farmland. This course includes rolling hills, fields, dirt roads, and a little bit of tarmac. We have been told by some past participants, that this is a challenging course, but so worth it!
