Dried lavender can keep for a few years! Just give the flower buds a gentle squeeze to refresh the bouquet of its sweet fragrance. Squeezing the buds releases a small amount of essential oil into the air. Lavender will not dry purple, but rather a bluish gray hue.  Dried flowers can be brittle so keep them with care.

A gentle breeze is normal here. And sometimes during storms, it’s really windy here, so bring a sweater! It is also a few degrees cooler here, than “in town”.
