Wreaths are time-honored symbols of the cycles of the seasons and the great wheel of the year. We will make our wreaths with wild grasses, flowers and herbs. We will learn about the medicinal properties of the things we pick. Placing your fresh wreath in your home, made with your intentions will provide powerful cleansing of mind and spirit, adding strength and protection to you and your home. Handmade wreaths given as gifts are seen as good luck and wishes for prosperity.

Hung on doors and over doorways (often during sacred holidays) wreaths are magical talismans that invite prosperity and abundance, while also keeping negative forces out.

During class, we will go out into the field and cut from various wild plants, and learn how to create a gorgeous floral wreath! This will entail some walking around the farm to gather enough greenery to make a wreath. We will spend 30-40 min foraging for grasses and flowers. Let your creativity shine with options of ribbons and bows. You can even learn how to make your own bow! Everyone leaves with a 16” wreath. Class is best suited for adults due to the use wire and tools.
