Vintage Winter Homestead Trivet with Vermont Botanicals

A little piece of old-fashioned New England winter, given new life with botanicals from our Vermont farm.

This vintage cast-iron trivet features the classic Currier & Ives “The Homestead in Winter” scene, with a snowy farmhouse, horse-drawn sleigh and quiet country landscape.

We've finished it with a hand-tied, removable botanical accent of winter rye, dried lavender, moss and other natural Vermont elements. Because the bundle is removable, the piece can be displayed with the botanicals or returned to its original look and used as a traditional trivet.

This is a genuine vintage piece with visible age and wear, including wear to the cast-iron finish and evidence of an older repair/adhesive on the reverse. We have intentionally left its vintage character intact.
